Jakarta, June 9, 2026 – Success in building a positive corporate culture and fostering exceptionally strong employee engagement has led PT Paiton Energy (www.paitonenergy.com) to be selected as a recipient of the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 award.
The HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Awards is an annual regional recognition program that honors companies with best-in-class human resource management practices. This prestigious event measures employee engagement levels and the quality of workplace culture capable of attracting and retaining the industry’s top talent.
This HR Asia award was evaluated directly by employees through a comprehensive survey using the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) methodology. The overall evaluation results indicate that the human resource practices at Paiton Energy are highly supportive of technological adaptation, new competency development, and maintaining overall employee well-being.
In this year’s assessment, Paiton Energy, whose majority shares are owned by domestic investor Medco Daya Energi Sentosa (MDES), not only won the main award as one of the best places to work in Asia but also demonstrated a strong performance in HR Asia’s specialized assessment aspects. The Company recorded achievements above the industry average in two critical categories: human resource transformation and commitment to creating a sustainable work environment.
The award for Paiton Energy was received directly by President Director of PT Paiton Energy, Fazil Erwin Alfitri, during the award ceremony held in Jakarta on Friday (5/6).

In addition to human resource management practices that support sustainable growth, the Company externally supports sustainability through Pentahelix collaborations in its CSR programs to strengthen Indonesia’s future. The Company is committed to continuously supporting the sustainable development agenda through reliable power plant management and long-term partnerships within CSR programs involving various stakeholders, including the government, academia, and the community.
