The Paiton Energy Indonesian Young Leaders Scholarship Program (IYLSP)

PT Paiton Energy aims to empower needy communities in Indonesia by advocating and providing them quality education. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project provides financial support and skills development opportunities since 2010 for the outstanding students of diverse background to accomplish second-year undergraduate program from recognized institutions throughout Indonesia.

The program (the Paiton Energy Indonesian Young Leaders Scholarship Program – IYLSP) has been managed by Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF) as a partner organization to select the students from specific degrees in Economics, Computer Science or Engineering in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), University of Brawijaya (UB), University of Andalas (UNAND), University of Hasanuddin (UNHAS) and University of Nusa Cendana (UNCEN).

The scholarship provides tuition fee, maintenance and living allowance, books and supplies, and thesis allowance for each student for a period of 2 (two) years or 4 (four) semesters. The applicants have to submit their academic records from all the previous semesters. It is expected that the grantees will be able to complete their study at semester 8 at the latest. They are required to sustain high level of academic achievement, holding GPA at least 3.0. They involve in social and students’ activities, showing potential on leadership, good command of English and demonstrate financial need.

The graduate students of this program will be prepared to enter workforce, possessing strong leadership skills and a commitment to contribute to their local community.
