Biodiversity Protection PT PAITON ENERGY

In order to preserve the environment and support natural resource conservation efforts, PT Paiton Energy monitors biodiversity in 5 biodiversity monitoring point areas in Probolinggo and Situbondo Regencies. This activity aims to identify, document, and evaluate the existence of various species of flora and fauna in the 5 areas designated by PT Paiton Energy, both protected and unprotected.

Monitoring includes observations of terrestrial and/or aquatic ecosystems, assessing habitat health, as well as measuring species populations that play an important role in ecosystem balance. The data obtained will be the basis for developing appropriate conservation strategies and ensuring that natural resource management practices are carried out in a sustainable manner for the preservation of nature and the welfare of the surrounding community.

The monitoring process carried out by PT Paiton Energy involves biologists, ecologists and local communities using various scientific methods, including field surveys, species data collection and analysis of changes in habitat conditions. As part of efforts to protect and preserve natural ecosystems, biodiversity monitoring carried out by PT Paiton Energy is an important step in ensuring natural balance. Biodiversity monitoring not only aims to protect endangered species, but also maintain ecosystem functions that support the lives of humans and other living creatures. PT Paiton Energy is committed to continuing to carry out biodiversity monitoring activities, as part of the company’s responsibility to maintain the balance of nature for future generations.
